Ascend Composite Cladding by Alside uses proprietary (GP)² technology, which combines Glass-Reinforced Polymer and Graphite-Infused Polystyrene. This composition delivers strong thermal and impact resistance, superior wind load performance, and a Class A Fire Rating for flame spread and smoke development.

Ascend is engineered to resist the full range of common exterior stressors. The glass-fiber composition prevents rotting, warping, shrinking, and swelling. Titanium dioxide is included in the compound for UV protection, weatherable pigments help resist fading — including on darker colors — and impact modifiers are built in to resist dents and dings.

Ascend is available in two profiles: 7-inch planks and 12-inch board and batten. The plank profile is offered exclusively in a Cedar Mill Grain texture, while the board and batten profile is available in both a matte and a woodgrain texture. Up to 20 on-trend colors are available, and all options are backed by an industry-leading lifetime limited warranty.
